Mind break.
That is putting it lightly.
I should not have...merely because of the things my eyes cannot being to have unseen.
Is it...really, really, reaaaaaally necessarily...for the gender swapped hentai?
Considering the utter gutter of Japanese related porn that is rather light (Why, God, WHY is there not mind bleach?!?) but...just...so...utterly...disturbing.
I found some great, cute and fun pieces from Persona 3 and Persona 4 I was going to post...but it's been so mentally traumatic I'm going to have to recover first. #_#

Mega-upload and Anonymous
I despise politics.
Both government and church politics cause my blood to boil and a partial loss of sanity.
Somehow and in someway, it seems that only the worst parts of humanity manage to find themselves in a position of power that they exploit and use to bring power to themselves while causing others suffering and harm.
SOPA and PIPA are just two examples of the Federal government attempting to overstep it's bounds and try to police not just the world but the way in which people communicate. I honest to God wish that was just the talk of a deranged and paranoid conspiracy theory but the more I find out the more it seems to be the truth.
There is obvious need for copyright laws and people to be compensated for their works...but when the people making the loudest noises are merely companies that publish said works because of their increasing irrelevance...we're looking at a time in history where a shift will occur.
Megaupload was part of that and lawsuits are being launched against the federal government for taking down the website. I doubt the lawsuits stand a chance but it would be nice if a judge decided that the GOVERNMENT was in need of being regulated and kept in check.

On top of that, Anonymous keeps making headlines.
I never thought I would be so excited to see a "terrorist" group be active and doing everything they could to bring attention to issues and try and prevent censorship worldwide.
They have done a lot of good and bad in the past...so I'm curious to see how all of this will play out.
The internet spoke out and refuses to be silenced and censored by out of touch, rich and bureaucratic white men who wouldn't know how to turn on a PC to save their lives.
This is an important battle most of all for Christians because if any one person is silenced, it is merely a row of dominoes before all of us are silenced. We have an obligation to stand for justice and free speech is a fundamental aspect of human rights that can NEVER be ignored.

Anonymous in World War?
http://www.wired.com/threatlevel/2012/01/anonymous-internationalist/
I have so many mixed feelings about this group and the legality of so much of their actions.
In a way it's like they are a living, breathing and ongoing embodiment of the Boston Tea Party not limited by class, creed, race or nation.
Anonymous has done some horrible things to individuals...however I have absolutely no pity for the groups and governments they have attacked because of the evil inherent in all human systems.

FBI Coming to a File Sharing House Near You?

Well THAT is lovely.
It may be a bit of hyperbole on my part but if they wasted years of time and manpower on taking down Megaupload, how soon until they start targeting individual users of bit torrent clients?
It's more than a little terrifying that they are going to be using information gathers on social networking websites...but why should I be surprised?
While I am sure there could be a VERY minute amount of relevant data mined from this...it makes me think of China, North Korea, Iran and any other government that controls their citizens and monitors them to insure that they are only thinking the right things.
And the people that say "If you have nothing to hide you should not worry" I say "Screw you."
I will NOT live in fear of my government.
We are protected under the first amendment to hold whatever view point we have and as long as we express it peacefully there is absolutely nothing that can be done about it.

Best Friend Has New Video Series:
My best friend has finally started his own video series:
http://www.twitch.tv/drasken/videos
So far it's just random footage of absurd things in video games (despite typically hating this type of video I found it entertaining) mixed with random conversation.
Oh those poor, poor goats of Skyrim.
